From Munich Hbf: For those who are travelling through Munich, there are regular train connections (direct or with one change) between Munich station and Golling - Abtenau. It takes about 2,1/2 hours. Munich-- Golling-Abtenau -- Russbach am Pass Gschütt, bus stop Gseng:
a) take the train from Munich Hbf to Golling-Abtenau;
b) take the "Postbus" from Golling Bahnhof to Russbach am Pass Gschütt, stop Gseng
c) come with your luggage to the nearby Hotel Landhaus Ausswinkl at the right side of the road for registration. This is the place to register.
From Salzburg airport: Salzburg -- Golling-Abtenau -- Russbach am Pass Gschütt, bus stop Gseng: We would suggest the following procedure: a) take the bus from Salzburg Airport to Salzburg main railway station (Hbf); b) take the train from Salzburg Hbf to Golling-Abtenau; c) take the "Postbus" from Golling Bahnhof to Russbach am Pass Gschütt, stop Gseng d) come with your luggage to the nearby Hotel Landhaus Ausswinkl at the right side of the road for registration. This is the place to register.
In case you will reach Golling later than 17:40, when the last bus to Russbach leaves, call Hotel Landhaus Ausswinkl (tel: +43/6242 366, email: ausswinkl@sbg.at, website : http://www.hotelausswinkl.at/) about half an hour before arrival in Golling, ortake a taxi.
